The QHotels Collection | Private Label Case Study
Taking the QHotels Experience Home
The QHotels Collection brings together premium hotels, spas and golf resorts across the UK. Since 2024, EcoScent has worked with the group to create a signature fragrance experience, growing from one hotel to 16 properties. The partnership evolved to include private-label reed diffusers featuring the same fragrance used throughout the hotels. Created in response to guest interest, the branded product allows visitors to take a familiar part of their stay home while introducing an additional retail opportunity for QHotels.
The Challenge
The QHotels Collection wanted a consistent, premium fragrance experience that would welcome guests and reflect its brand across different properties. The scent needed to complement reception areas, lounges, corridors and other shared spaces. As guests commented on and enquired about the fragrance, an opportunity emerged to extend that experience beyond their stay. QHotels needed a branded product that captured its signature scent and offered guests a lasting connection with the hotels.
The Solution
QHotels shared its ideas for a branded reed diffuser that would capture the character of its hotels and bring its signature scent into guests’ homes. EcoScent’s design team developed these ideas into a bespoke product design, pairing the QHotels identity with Sandalwood, Bergamot & Citrus, a fragrance selected from EcoScent’s existing collection. Samples were provided for the team to review before the order moved into production. The finished diffuser brought the hotel’s familiar fragrance and branding together in a product guests could enjoy long after their stay.
The Result
The branded reed diffuser has extended the QHotels signature fragrance beyond the hotel, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a familiar part of their stay at home. The product is available to buy from QHotels Collection, creating an additional retail opportunity while strengthening the connection between the guest, the fragrance and the QHotels brand.
